Kissing sign

キスのサイン/Kissing sign_b0213940_2210687.jpg町を歩いていて面白いと思ったもの。

When we walked around a town, we saw a sign "kiss and ride" which is near a school and I think it means you can't park, but you can stop for a few minutes for pick up and drop off people. That's interesting!

I think transportation systems are convenient in Brussels. There are metro, buses, trams and rental bicycles. We are very curious about rental bikes, but before you use it, you have to register and pay deposit €150 by a credit card then you will receive a card which is written a pin code. The rental bikes are so popular in here so if you see them, you just show the card and put into the pin number and a bike code. The deposit will be taken when you break or lose it. €1.5 for a day, €7 for a week, €30 for a year. We haven't decided yet to regiter or not, but many people use in here.

This ticket can use for buses, trams, and metro. €1.8 for 1 ticket (if you buy it at a machine near a tram station), but if you buy it in the tram €2. The machine only accepts coins and a credit card which is published by Belgium so we couldn't buy it by master card etc. However, if you go to train stations, there are ticket counters so you can buy any type of tickets. We normally buy 10 tickets ( €12.5). A ticket is available for an hour so when you get on a train/trum/bus, you have to put your ticket into a machine which will stamp the time on it. If you change a transportation, you have to put it into a machine again, but if it is within an hour, the stamp only mentions (T) which is transit. I think it is a very good system!
